WEI create change... by helping widows to feed their families through social entrepreneurship. WEI is the first program focused on helping widows in third world countries to start businesses. Micro-loans and grants will be given to alleviate current debt and to buy capital for start up ventures. WEI partners with institutions in communities where large widow populations exist.. it is through these connections we identify women who are interested in creating a new live for themselves and others.

It is human nature to nurture... by giving today you could help a woman to feed her children and start a business that will contribute to her community. Your contribution not only changes her future but also changes the future of others. Each woman who is given a loan will "pay it forward" by training another woman in that profession.

Women's Entrepreneurship Initiative is a 501(c)(3) social entrepreneurship program that creates new jobs that are needed, wanted, and encouraged by the surrounding community.

WEI alleviates current debt and breaks the cycle of debt inheritance passed on through generations by making micro-loans and grants available. This program was originally started as an aid program for widows to use social entrepreneurship to support their families.

WEI is grounded in the idea that social entrepreneurship revolves around "paying it forward." Each entrepreneur supported by the program must train another person in their field. By giving one person the opportunity to create change in their own life they will create change in the lives of many.
